Walnut Capital commissioned Young to design a mural complementing the newly-painted University Commons apartments in Oakland. Using the existing color palette, Janel created a geometric-inspired landscape featuring a bridge comprised of her signature tribal triangles + a classic blend as the centerpiece backdrop. The final work extends a splash of color to the parking space curb stops below the mural.
