MARK THE MOON (MURAL), CURALEAF

JY Originals was invited to join the Artist Collective with Curaleaf's Select Brand, designing a Black History Month enamel pin called "Mark the Moon." The pin’s artwork celebrates the act of achieving + embracing your most free, creative state, leaving your mark as you do it.

As an extension to the pin (+ later, art print), Young was also commissioned to design + paint a four-wall mural at Curaleaf's cannabis + wellness retail store on Weed Street in Chicago. The walls are spaced out throughout the customer experience + they are designed for people to feel like they are viewing different perspectives of the same whimsical universe. For example, you will see the same planets + surroundings no matter which room you're in during your visit, but you will see them at varying sizes, distances + angles. It's a memorable journey through the retail space to ultimately get consumers where they desire to be — literally or figuratively.
