The #100GatesProject pairs small business owners with local artists to install art onto their security gates, adding a splash of color to the neighborhood outside of business hours. JY Originals brightened East Harlem’s block of 1st Ave between 109th and 110th Street, a place for paint classes, art workshops and studio time.
